Choosing the BEST MILK or PLANT-BASED MILK alternative for your Simply Desserts.

Milk contains between 0g to 13g natural sugar. You can vary the sweetness of your pudding or dessert by what milk or milk alternatives you use.

2.5g of fat or higher is our recommendation to maximize taste, texture and color of your delicious pudding.

Pour 1 packet into 2 cups of milk or 1 1/4 cups of milk substitute. Beat the pudding mix & milk using a whisk for 1 minute and then switch to an electric beater for 3-5 minutes. If the milk begins to foam, stop mixing until foam subsides & then beat on slow for 2-3 minutes until desired texture.

Let product rest for 1 minute for best results.

Do I need to refrigerate the Jel and Pudding to set?

No they both set outside the fridge – The jel will set in 60mins and the pudding will set in 5 minutes. We do suggest once set to place in the fridge to keep cold and fresh.

Do your products contain SOY?

Our Jels and puddings do not contain any soy.

Does the product contain DAIRY?

Our desserts are 100% dairy-free and our manufacturing facility is audited by the Kosher body to confirm they are dairy-free & meat-free.

Does the product contain GLUTEN?

Our Products are completely gluten-free. We have completed testing to ensure they meet FDA’s requirements for “Gluten-Free” and Simply Desserts meets the World’s highest standards of Gluten-Free by being able to sell in Australia, which has the strictest legislation regarding “gluten-free” claims.

Does the product contain NUTS or could there be cross-contamination?

All our Simply Desserts products/ingredients do not contain any tree nuts and are peanut-free. That includes all other products manufactured in our manufacturing plant.

Our manufacturing facilities follow strict regulations and product safety programs, which include regularly conducting U.S. FDA-grade cleanings as well as testing to prevent cross-contamination to ensure all our products are 100% free from peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, sesame, and kiwi.

We have the following cleaning, sanitation & allergen measures in place to prevent cross-contamination:

  • Allergen ingredients are stored separately.
  • We use dedicated utensils and sieves for allergen lines.
  • We have cleaning and sanitation methods in place to ensure all areas are properly cleaned.
  • After cleaning and sanitation, machinery and surfaces are swabbed to check for any trace of allergens.
  • We run sample allergen tests to ensure that products are allergen-free.
Does the SODIUM come from the various ingredients or do we add salt in – if we add salt what salt do we use eg: table salt?

In the Jel, the salt content comes from the seaweed setting agent that we use. In the puddings, we use phosphate emulsifying salt which can be found in all instant pudding desserts and is derived from the phosphate rock in the earth. No table salt is used in our products.

Does your product contain dyes?

All our products are dye free. Simply Desserts uses only natural flavors & colors. All our natural flavors and colors are manufactured from actual fruits and vegetables in an FDA certified plant.

Foaming / Bubbles in Simply Desserts Pudding

Milk will foam when you beat milk with an electric beater, so we recommend mixing your pudding using a whisk or an electric beater at low speed until the bubbles disappear to create a smooth texture.

How do I prepare Simply Desserts Instant Puddings?

2 MINUTES FROM BEAT TO EAT … AND HEAT FOR AN EXTRA TREAT

Mixing Instructions:

1. Beat pudding mix into 2 cups (480ml) of milk or 1 1/4 cups (300ml) of milk substitute using a handheld or electric beater for 2-5 min or until thickened.
2. Pour into serving dish and allow to stand for 5 minutes.
3. For a delicious hot pudding – heat in the microwave for 2 min.

Pudding will be smooth and creamy and ready to eat. Can be prepared with full cream/low fat/fat-free milk as well as milk substitutes (Soy, Almond, Coconut, or any Plant-Based milk). Delicious as a filling when mixed with cream/non-dairy cream.

  3. Ordered the lemon..although good..alittke aftertaste..but still love it..instead of milk..add 1 cup of water to mix..makes a meringue..chill in fridge for half hr..eat up
