Strawberry Shortcake

This easy to make strawberry short cake recipe features fresh strawberries and Simply Desserts Strawberry Pudding!

Ingredients

  • 5 cups pound cake home made or store bought
  • 1 packet Simply Desserts Strawberry Pudding
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 500 ml heavy cream
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries
  • mint for garnish

Instructions

  • With an electric mixer, whip the heavy cream, vanilla extract and the envelope of Simply Desserts pudding until soft peaks are formed in the cream.

To Assemble

  • Start by adding pound cake into the bottom of the glasses.
  • Next layer on cream mixture and strawberries evenly to each jar. 
  • Repeat, finishing with strawberries on top.
  • Garnish with fresh mint.
