Ingredients

Churros

  • 1 cup water
  • 5 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 scoop MariGold Grass-Fed Whey Isolate
  • 2 eggs

Toppings

  • Cinnamon sugar: 1/4 cup sugar + 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 scoop MariGold Collagen Peptides - hot chocolate flavor
  • 1 sachet Simply Desserts Vanilla Pudding
  • 2 cups milk of choice

Instructions

  • In a pot, combine water, butter, vanilla extract, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.

  • Remove from heat and stir in flour and whey isolate. Let cool slightly.

  • Mix in eggs until fully incorporated.
    1 scoop MariGold Grass-Fed Whey Isolate, 2 eggs
  • Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
  • Pipe mixture into a large spiral or strips. Fry in hot neutral oil until golden, turning to cook evenly.
  • Place on paper towels, then roll in cinnamon sugar.
    Cinnamon sugar: 1/4 cup sugar + 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Prepare pudding per package instructions using milk of choice.
    1 sachet Simply Desserts Vanilla Pudding, 2 cups milk of choice
  • For chocolate drizzle, mix 1 scoop collagen peptides with a splash of water.

  • Assemble by topping churro with pudding and drizzling with chocolate sauce.
