    Ingredients

    • 1st pear
    • 2nd pear
    • 1 cup Ceres Pear Juice Blend
    • 1 package Simply Desserts Unflavored Jel
    • ½ tsp cinnamon
    • 3 tbsp brown sugar
    • 1 puff pastry sheet thawed
    • Powdered sugar for dusting

    Instructions

    • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    • Prepare the filling: Chop 1 pear into cubes and add it to a saucepan with Ceres Pear Juice Blend, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Simmer over medium-low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
      1st pear, 1 cup Ceres Pear Juice Blend, ½ tsp cinnamon, 3 tbsp brown sugar
    • Thicken the mixture: Add Simply Desserts Unflavored Jel and stir until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and set aside.

    • Prepare the pastry: Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 4 rectangles.

    • Assemble the tarts: Spoon the pear filling into the center of each pastry, then fan out thinly sliced pear slices on top.
      2nd pear
    • Bake: Transfer to the baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until the edges are puffed and golden brown.
    • Cool & Serve: Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
