The single most remade Ninja Creami recipe is a vanilla protein pint built on milk plus a stabilized pudding mix, and nearly everything else worth making is a variation of that idea: a milk or fruit base, a stabilizer to control ice crystals, and mix-ins added on the Mix-In cycle. Below are the 25 recipes and flavor concepts the community keeps coming back to, in five groups: protein pints, classic creams, community legends, sorbets, and frozen yogurt.
One honest note before the list. We have not copied anyone's recipe here. The five protein pints are our own tested recipes with full instructions at the links; everything else is a flavor concept described in our own words, with the base we recommend so you can build it yourself. If you want the theory first, start with the protein ice cream guide and the pudding-mix dosing guide.
The protein pints (1 to 5)
If the Creami community has a canon, this is it: a milk base plus a stabilizer, frozen flat for 24 hours, processed once, eaten straight from the pint. These five are our own recipes, built on Simply Desserts Protein Pudding Mix, a dairy mix (milk protein, so not vegan) with 20g protein per box (5g per serving of mix), sweetened with erythritol and stevia, 0g added sugar.
1. Ninja Creami Vanilla Protein Ice Cream
The pint every flavor riff starts from, and the one the community remakes more than anything else. Clean vanilla, genuinely creamy on the first spin, and endlessly toppable.
Base: milk plus vanilla Protein Pudding Mix. Get the full recipe.
2. Ninja Creami Chocolate Protein Ice Cream
Rich, cocoa-forward and nothing like the chalky chocolate protein pints people complain about. The pudding mix does the stabilizing so the cocoa can just taste like cocoa.
Base: milk plus chocolate Protein Pudding Mix. Get the full recipe.
3. Ninja Creami Banana Protein Ice Cream
Bright banana flavor with no actual bananas to brown, blend or waste. A sleeper favorite for anyone who grew up on banana pudding.
Base: milk plus banana Protein Pudding Mix. Get the full recipe.
4. Ninja Creami Cookies and Cream Protein Ice Cream
A vanilla protein base loaded with chocolate cookie pieces on the Mix-In cycle. Honest note: the cookies contain sugar, so this pint is not sugar-free even though the base itself is.
Base: vanilla Protein Pudding Mix base plus crushed chocolate sandwich cookies. Get the full recipe.
5. Ninja Creami Protein Ice Cream (Pudding Mix Base)
The straight pudding-mix master recipe: mix, freeze, spin. The fastest route from box to bowl, and the template for the 20 concepts below.
Base: the pure Protein Pudding Mix formula. Get the full recipe.
Classic cream pints (6 to 13)
The flavors people actually bought the machine for. Each of these is a concept you can build from a simple stabilized dairy base: whole or 2% milk, a splash of cream if you want it richer, and 1 to 2 tablespoons of instant pudding mix per pint (exact dosing by model in the dosing guide).
6. Vanilla bean, done right
Ninja's own booklet vanilla is famous for spinning up powdery. The community fix is a richer base and a stabilizer: real vanilla bean or paste gives it that speckled, scooped-at-the-parlor look.
Base: whole milk plus a splash of cream, vanilla bean paste, 1 tbsp vanilla instant pudding mix.
7. Proper chocolate
The trick everyone learns eventually: bloom the cocoa powder in a little warm milk first so it dissolves completely, otherwise you get gritty specks in the finished pint.
Base: milk, bloomed cocoa, sweetener of choice, 1 tbsp chocolate instant pudding mix.
8. Fresh strawberry
Blended fresh or frozen strawberries make a gorgeous pink pint, but fruit brings extra water, which is exactly what turns icy. This one needs its stabilizer more than most.
Base: milk blended with strawberries, 1 to 1.5 tbsp strawberry or vanilla instant pudding mix.
9. Classic cookies and cream
The full-dairy version of number 4. The rule the community swears by: crush the cookies and add them on the Mix-In cycle, never blend them into the base, or you get grey ice cream. With real cookies in it, this is a treat pint, not a sugar-free one.
Base: vanilla cream base plus crushed chocolate sandwich cookies on the Mix-In cycle.
10. Mint chip
Peppermint extract rewards restraint: a quarter teaspoon per pint is plenty. Shave or finely chop the chocolate instead of using whole chips, because big chips freeze rock hard.
Base: vanilla cream base, peppermint extract, shaved dark chocolate on the Mix-In cycle.
11. Peanut butter cup
Peanut butter whisked straight into the base flavors every bite, then chopped peanut butter cups go in on the Mix-In cycle for the candy moments. Real candy means real sugar, so call it what it is.
Base: chocolate or vanilla base with 1 to 2 tbsp peanut butter whisked in, chopped peanut butter cups as mix-in.
12. Coffee ice cream
Instant espresso powder dissolves cleanly into a milk base and freezes into a pint with genuine affogato energy. Decaf works exactly the same if a 9pm pint is your habit.
Base: milk, 1 to 2 tsp instant espresso, 1 tbsp vanilla or chocolate instant pudding mix.
13. Cheesecake
A few tablespoons of softened cream cheese blended into a vanilla base gives that unmistakable tang, and graham cracker crumbs on the Mix-In cycle finish the illusion.
Base: vanilla base blended with softened cream cheese, graham crumbs as mix-in.
The community legends (14 to 19)
These are the pints that made the Creami subreddits and TikTok famous: the recipes people post their macros next to. Every one of them builds on the stabilized bases above.
14. Snickers-style candy bar pint
Probably the most requested "prove it tastes good" recipe in the community: a chocolate base with a caramel ribbon, chopped peanuts and candy bar pieces on the Mix-In cycle. Made with real candy it is emphatically not sugar-free; a chopped caramel-peanut protein bar gets you close for less sugar.
Base: chocolate Protein Pudding Mix base, caramel syrup swirl, peanuts and chopped bar as mix-ins.
15. Wendy's-style chocolate Frosty
The famous dupe. The community version is chocolate milk plus a spoon of instant pudding mix, which regulars swear comes out just like the drive-thru original. Our take: chocolate Protein Pudding Mix in milk gives the same malty, spoon-standing thickness with a protein bonus.
Base: milk plus chocolate Protein Pudding Mix, processed and eaten slightly soft.
16. Dole-Whip-style pineapple soft serve
The theme-park favorite, recreated at home: pineapple blended with coconut milk for that impossibly smooth, dairy-free soft-serve texture. Eat it fresh from the first spin, when it is at its softest.
Base: canned pineapple with juice, coconut milk, a squeeze of lime.
17. Cottage cheese protein base
The current viral trend, and it earns the hype: blended cottage cheese is protein, body and creaminess in one ingredient. Blend it completely smooth with milk and flavoring before freezing; done right, there is zero tang in the finished pint.
Base: cottage cheese blended smooth with milk, sweetener and vanilla, or a serving of Protein Pudding Mix for flavor plus extra stability.
18. Cinnamon roll
A vanilla base warmed up with cinnamon and a brown-sugar-style sweetener, swirled after processing so the ribbons stay distinct. Crushed graham crackers or biscuit pieces on the Mix-In cycle stand in for the dough.
Base: vanilla base plus cinnamon, sweetener swirl, graham pieces as mix-in.
19. S'mores
Chocolate base, graham cracker crumbs and mini marshmallows on the Mix-In cycle. Marshmallows are sugar by definition, so this is a full-dessert pint; the campfire nostalgia is worth it.
Base: chocolate base with graham crumbs and mini marshmallows as mix-ins.
Sorbets and fruit (20 to 23)
Water-based pints are the machine's weak spot: plain juice or blended fruit spins into slush because there is nothing to control the ice. The fix is a jel stabilizer. Simply Desserts Jel Desserts are plant-based and vegan (carrageenan, a seaweed gum, not gelatin), sweetened with erythritol and stevia, 0g added sugar, so these sorbets stay honestly free of added sugar; the fruit brings its own natural sugars. Full ratios in the jel sorbet guide.
20. Watermelon jel sorbet
The flagship. Blended watermelon is mostly water, which is exactly why jel crystals transform it: the pint comes out scoopable and intensely fruity instead of a pink ice block.
Base: blended watermelon set with strawberry Jel crystals. Method in the sorbet guide.
21. Mango sorbet
Frozen mango chunks blended with a little water or juice make one of the richest-tasting sorbets in the machine, because mango's natural fiber adds body that most fruit lacks.
Base: blended mango plus a part-package of orange or unflavored Jel crystals.
22. Berry lemonade sorbet
Mixed berries blended with lemonade for a sweet-tart summer pint. Use a sugar-free lemonade and the only sugars in the pint are the fruit's own.
Base: blended berries and sugar-free lemonade set with strawberry or raspberry Jel crystals.
23. Pineapple sorbet
Canned pineapple with its juice is the closest thing sorbet has to a cheat code: the fruit's fiber gives natural body, and a jel stabilizer finishes the job. Bright, sharp and dairy-free.
Base: canned pineapple with juice plus a part-package of Jel crystals.
Frozen yogurt and lighter pints (24 and 25)
24. Vanilla frozen yogurt
Greek yogurt thinned with milk gives a tangy, high-protein froyo that needs less help than most bases, because the yogurt's own proteins do part of the stabilizing.
Base: Greek yogurt, milk, vanilla and sweetener, plus a half-dose of instant pudding mix.
25. Low-calorie chocolate
The community's cutting-season staple: an almond milk or skim base that lands around a couple hundred calories for the whole pint. Lean bases like this need a stabilizer more than any other recipe on the list, or they spin up icy and chalky. The full no-chalk formula is in our protein ice cream guide.
Base: almond or skim milk plus chocolate Protein Pudding Mix, respin with a splash of milk if needed.
Where to go from here
Every full recipe with exact measurements lives on our Ninja Creami recipes page, the stabilizer science and per-model dosing live in the pudding-mix guide, and the fruit-pint method lives in the sorbet guide. And the two boxes doing the heavy lifting across this whole list, Protein Pudding Mix for cream pints and Jel Desserts for sorbets, are both in the Simply Desserts shop.
